About the Internship Program

Internships are a great way to immerse yourself in PLRC's culture to see if we’re a good fit for you and your career goals.

PLRC interns play an important role in building the future for our customers. The possibilities you’ll explore and the impact you’ll have are driven by your ideas and initiative. You will chart your own path and own your development, career, and future. In other words, your experience and trajectory at PLRC is in your hands.

PLRC interns work on a variety of projects that accelerate their career growth and delight PLRC customers. Our interns have been involved in projects like writing customer-facing content, building offers, launching new product campaigns, creating real-time feedback systems for our hourly employees, identifying and implementing ways to improve our customer funnel process, and building new features on plrcdigital.com. Intern projects can range from working on products for customers to creating behind the scenes unreleased features, and span roles in content development, video marketing, SEO, Social Media Marketing, Lead Generation and Follow up, and sales.

PROJECTS

During the duration of an internship, interns own their projects from start to finish, most of which will wrap up towards the end of their internship. At that time, PLRC provides feedback on the intern’s overall performance, deliverables, and skills as they relate to the role, project expectations.

MENTORSHIP

We provide interns with many opportunities to take part in building the future for PLRC customers. Account management can be messy — we know that there is much we can do better, and we find tremendous energy in the many opportunities that lie ahead. Because of this, we provide every intern with mentorship and training to enable their success and help facilitate their career growth. This mentorship will provide guidance on projects, give feedback on key deliverables, and work to remove barriers. We treat our internship program seriously   as an important source for discovering talent.

TRAINING

We empower PLRC Interns to take full ownership over their work, which is why we provide a variety of self-service resources to help teams meet their goals and learn from one another. During an internship, look out for formal classroom trainings and self-service offerings. These materials help with things like managing experiences, analysing data, problem solving, writing narrative documents, and working backwards from the customer to the end goal. In addition to projects, interns are provided with many opportunities to develop personal and professional networks by taking part in social events, diving into workshops, joining an PLRC LEAD group and taking advantage of all that PLRC has to offer.

Internship Type

A typical business internship consists of a strategic project that is data intensive, analytical, centred on a real business issue, and is representative of a full-time role. Interns will have full ownership of a high-profile project where they will partner with key business groups and clients. The opportunities this internship offers range from exposure to senior leaders, to gaining general business skills that help execute corporate strategies.

Examples of Business internships we provide include:

  • Content Marketing

  • Social Media Marketing

  • Content Development
